1999 Chevrolet 2500 Pickup - 5.7L V8 123,000 mi,
code was for a miss, bottom of distributor was worn off and allowed the distributor gear to climb up the cam gear eating the rotor and cap!! replaced distributor with one from a wrecking yard, problem solved!
