yesterday started and ran just fine. this morning it want start . when you turn the key you get nothing no crank no start no noise of any kind. I check the battery it fine. dash lights come on and the interior light is very bright and so are the head lights. Please help if you can. Thank you

the sound is inconsistent so I know it is not a belt. It happens when the steering will is turned at slow speeds and comes on usually at stop lights or when I am at a low speed. I also replaced both belts on the vehicle. I put a new pulley on when the power steering pump was installed.

I need to change them out. The ones in it have lost their sprung. And if posible could I put a linger spring to add some lift?

Whenever we have the ac on the rpms jump from 500 up over 1000 and anywhere in between when idle and does not stay consistent for more than a few seconds. Also whenever trying 2 accelerate the rpms will drop off sharply then resume as normal if the ac is on. Ive only noticed these problems with the ac on as when its off everything seems normal. Any suggestions

A/C stops cooling when car reaches any speed higher than 65. When I slow down or stop (without turning A/C or engine off), A/C starts cooling again.

I turned on my AC and it works great in High Speed. On the lower speeds I have to hold it or wiggle the switch around to get it to work. Once I let go it stops again. but only on the lower selections.

THANKS

I got this Sante Fe 2005 a couple years ago. Considering this is a SUV, that I would never have, I really like it.
Twice now, I have had the passenger seat nylon pull tab get under the seat because the original holder loop is missing. I can feel the bar and just barely touch the pull tab, but it must be caught some place. How do I get that seat 'up' so I can use the cargo space? I managed somehow, the first time, to trigger the release, can't seem to now. Can't believe my fingers got shorter when I lost weight.

I just bought my 2005 Santa Fe 3.5 V6 2 wheel drive and the guy I bought it from (he buys cars at auctions and fixes and sells them) said his mechanic put a shift kit in and said should have a tune up. I asked my mechanic and he said a tune up is going to cost close to $1K. You have got to be kidding me???

Took 2005 Santa Fe, 151,000 miles, in for timing belt replacement, water pump and serpentine belt and, A/C compressor replacement, $2,454.00. Mechanic broke motor mount and expects me to paid for this too. Is this normal/expected?
