It just came on this morning. Need to know if it can still be driven until I can get it to shop

I have a 2008 Civic Hybrid with 116,000 miles on it. I recently took it in to the dealer because it started shaking/jerking when I accelerated onto the interstate. They said I needed a new IMA battery. However, the IMA indicator light had not been coming on. I took it to a highly recommended shop for a second opinion and they said it just needed an oil change and maybe replacement of a swing arm (can't remember if that's the exact term).

I'm wondering what the life of an IMA battery pack is, and if the dealer might have just been trying to sell me something I didn't need.

auto transmission gears are not shifting after the 2nd gear

I am pretty handy with cars but never fixed engine codes. I would like to do it my self this time... the car has 88k and is mostly highway driven. What steps should I take?

The blower intermittently works on my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid. It seems that when I go over a bump in the road, it will begin to work again, but stops working randomly. I think it's the blower motor. If it were the fuse, it wouldn't work ever. I also don't know where the blower motor is located on the car.

HOW OFTEN DOES THE SERPINTINE BELT NEED REPLACED? HOW OFTEN DOES THE SPARK PLUGS NEED CHANGED?
WILL THESE HELP MY MILEAGE?
