2010 Honda Civic QuestionsRefine by vehicle
When I drive at high speeds there is a rattle from under my front passenger side. It will eventually get to the drivers side but primarily passenger side.
Never had any inkling there was a problem...worked earlier in the day.
All locks work except when using the key FOB. I even tried my spare and it does not work either and replacing the battery.
I have tried replacing the battery and using the spare key but still nothing. My doors still lock and unlock when I use the keyhole and my interior power lock buttons still work. I have a 2010 Honda Civic LX.
The key has a chip with power lock/unlock & panic buttons. I've even replaced the battery which made no difference.
Reading the other threads sounds like the mounts need to be replaced. Also, on yesterday I heard a pop noise, and the speedometer, check engine light came on, and the "D" is flashing. I can't get it fixed until Friday, is it safe to drive.
TPMS LIGHT IS STILL ON AFTER ALL TIRES IS AT 30LBS/ WHAT CAN I DO TO RESET THIS SYSTEM...I LOOK FOR THE RESET...CAN NOT FIND IT///HELP
I purchased my vehicle in November of last year and of course it did not have a manual and no one could tell me at the dealership whether or not it had a timing chain or belt. It is an automatic sedan LX. That is all that I know and have been trying in vain for days, spending hours online trying to get that one answer. If someone could answer that question for me, you have no idea how much I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance, Kim
I recently took my 2010 Civic (121,000 miles) on a road trip to Colorado. We drove the car everywhere including elevations over 12,000. On our return trip the check engine light came. After getting the diagnostic reading I learned the error had to do with the fuel tank sensor. Does anyone have any thoughts? Might the elevation be the cause?
front brake pads replaced 6 months ago. Brakes are perfectly fine. Only when engine heats and brakes pressed, it gives noises on pressing.
Im looking for a place cheap enough but still does a quality job. As of now im broke but i got a ticket for it and need to get it replaced pronto. Thank you!
With the key fob. They all work when switching by hand.
