Had hydraulic leak in trunk from top actuators. Took it to the dealer, who wanted $7500 (!!!) to fix 5 of the 12 cylinders. Uh, no! I paid $6300 for the car. So, what to do...

Did some investigation and found a place online (mbseals.com) that will provide you with the appropriate polyeurathane seals and nitrile o-rings to replace within the actuator cylinders. They are $275 plus shipping for all 12 cylinder kits. There is also a place in Oregon (Top Hydraulics) that will refurbish your cylinders for up to $550 for all 12. You have to remove all of them and ship them to Oregon (not sure what that costs.

So, after some thinking, I have decided to do them myself. It will be a long job to replace all 12 but I am going to give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes. If anyone else has any info, it would be greatly appreciated.
