My problem is that on my 94' intrepid, the gas gauge dropped to empty even when there was plenty of fuel. A friend of mine with a dodge truck had the same symptoms. The fuel level will spuratically fluctuate especially after putting gas in, and then after awhile it will not register whatsoever. I am still trying to diagnose this as it seems to be a factory problem.
