Erratic Fuel Gauge Operation on Chevrolet Express 2500

Problem Description and Possible Solution

It is common for the fuel level sensor in the fuel tank read the fuel level incorrectly. The sensor must be replaced to correct the condition. Our technicians recommend having the complete fuel pump module replaced on high mileage vehicles.

Running out of gas when fuel indicators says that there's about a 1/8 to 1/4 tank? Happened twice and yellow warning light doesn't let me know when I'm low. 2005 Chevy Express 2500 Ext. Cargo, 4.8 engine
Fuel gauge not working
Fuel gauge is erratic, one minute reads 1/2 tank next minute reads zero.
fuel gage reads half tank with no fuel in it replaced sending unit and still have the same problem
The gasoline gauge marks half tank, and does not have gasoline. I have ran out of gasoline many times. Does someone have a solution?
When you fill your tank the needle only moves to a 1/4 tank of gas
Gauge jumps around.
Showed a little lee than half a tank when I had run out of fuel.
I just bought the van it runs great but the fuel gauge says full almost all the time. But then ran out of gas.I don't know where to start
Fuel gauge intermittently reads empty. Suspect faulty fuel level sensor.
THE WIRE FROM THE VAN THAT GO TO THE FUEL PUMP AND THE FUSE BOX HAS A SHORT. ALREADY DID THAT BUT IT KEEPS TURNING OFF.
no reading at all
