2008 Honda Civic 90,000 mi,
drivers door window off track wont roll up
I have had this problem 3 times. And it only seems to happen when the window is wet and gets opened. The window will go up 80%, then go back down. Sometimes when holding the up button, it comes off track. Honda has replaced the motor twice.
about 35000 miles. window went off track and had to be fixed.
2014 Honda Civic 28,000 mi,
While 250 miles from home passenger front window came off track, and chipped. Honda would not repair because I did not take to dealer to lift window. Warranty would not cover.
2009 Honda Civic 24,000 mi,
front door off track
2007 Honda Civic 13,000 mi,
This happened on both my driver and passenger door windows within 3 weeks of buying my certified used Honda Civic form a Honda dealer. Thankfully I still had the warranty, because the driver side needed to be fixed twice and the passenger window once. Both times, the driver side window, the motor was broken and the passenger window had come off the track.
2008 Honda Civic 72,000 mi,
Front window will not roll up automatically becasue it is off. it wil go half way up and stop. Had it fixed once while under waranty, then broke a short time later. I have not botherd to fix again. If I do I will be looking at after market parts.
