I've been hearing a strange noise when I start my car and when shifting gears but doesn't happen all the time also car stalled for the first time today and engine light came on for a while then shut off and sometimes when I start it it feels as if it don't want to stay running anyone have any advice or have the same issues an what should I do?

It will eventually start after cranking it long enough for the check engine light go off and the fuel pump fills the line with pressure. It will also start if starting fluid is squirted into the throttle plate assembly. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator, the problem still exists.

Firm ride light started flashing and my steering got extremely tight. I've never had the firm ride on so I don't know if that's how its supposed to feel. But after it came on the car would pull left and then went away. Now when I turn hard like to turn in my drive way there was a clunk in the steering wheel. The anti lock break light is also on constantly. Its a joy to drive when working properly but lately its become a money pit

need stter wire from ignition

the car came with a chip you have to plug into the car where you plug in a obd sensor or it will not start. can this be bypassed

Thunderbird won't shift out of low gear when driving. Was told it sounds like a shift control modual on the auto trans but can't find out where its at on the trans. Need to locate it and find out if its a hard or expensive repair.

Is this a expensive fix and is it a hard repair?

I can only get it out just a bit, unable to get to the plugs on the back of the unit. the unit will not come out but a inch or two. i am using the ford radio removal tool, but again only comes out just a bit.

just started doing it all the time. at a stop have to stand on brake for it to stop. will idle down road at 40 mph

have replaced idle air control valve , coolant temperature sender and sensor, cleaned fuel system, other things have been done.

Real bad knocking in bottom end.

heater core remove and replace

Do I have to replace THE WHOLE SPINDLE to a front wheel, to just replace the front wheel bearings.... for a 1993 Ford Thunderbird 3.8L LX ! ? ! ?

What is the size socket (probably metric) to remove the center spindle nut... which appears to be not a solid piece but segmented...anyone know where the procedure to this nut removal might be?

The problem first started last year. The alarm would turn on while I was driving. i would just take the battery cable off for a while and it would stop. Now its acting up again and nothings working. please help
