Truck shifts through all the gears, it maintains speed when u step on gas for passing gear.let off gas when speed drops to 50 mph it works
I smelt it inside the cab of vehicle and now I am afraid to drive it do to having 6 kids in it with me and how hot it is in SC
The air suspension has gone out on my truck for the second time. I know my truck is very old but it's gotta last me just a little while longer. I replace the first air susp. system with one from an after market system from Arnott industries. I was very happy with it's performance until the back one busted or something, Im really not sure what happen. No accident, I don't even drive it that much. And it's just the rear ones. But I can't afford to replace it again at that price esp. if it's gonna last any longer than it did the first time. It's says it has a limited lifetime warranty but with my history with this vehicle something won't go right. It was replaced May 2011.
I love the ride of the air suspension that's why I replaced it. Can I get the same ride with a heavy duty shock and should all four be replaced now ?????
What brand and how much should they cost ?????

This is a recent occurence and it sounds like air escaping or hissing for a few seconds when the engine is turned off after driving.
I have changed the entire set of these on this truck twice within the last 2 years. One by one has gone out and I have replace it.
The truck starts missing really bad
1 year ago I got a tune up and replaced all 8. So frustrated these things are expensive. But its my only transportation.

The parts came from advance auto parts. Is it the parts or the truck.
My son said he drove his vehicle to work and parked it. No noises or anything, just normal. He came out after work to start it and the engine doesn't spin. You can tell the starter is working fine because you can see the crankshaft try to turn but it is like the engine is seized. Trying to turn the engine clockwise does not work. Wanting to make sure it wasn't seized, I was able to turn it one complete revolution counter-clockwise. I actually went a little more, but I didn't want to do much more because I didn't know if it could cause a problem. Being able to do that I would think eliminates hydrostatic lock as the cause. Tried to start it again and still will not turn clockwise. Ideas? Or should I say constructive ideas? Hoping for something obvious I could be missing.

I have change the master flow system, spark plugs, oxygen censers, but haven't change the coils. Just can't not figure it out. I thought bit maybe a vacuum leak.
Is there a way to by pass the alarm.
it happens more so when the cruise is not being used and/or driving against the wind. also will do it when over drive is switched off.
The light does not always stay lit for the mileage. I would like to put a new instrument panel in. Does the instrument panel just unplug once I remove the instrument dash pieces?
my engine makes a loud knocking noise when in park and when I shift to drive it stops but when driving my 4x4 sensor light flashes when driving and my radio goes in and out
