Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG Problem Report

Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG ABS Modulator Failure Due to Dirty Brake Fluid

(4 reports)

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) modulator assembly may fail due to dirty brake fluid. Our technicians recommend a complete brake system flush every two years in order to help prevent this problem.

ABS LIGHT COMES ON RANDOMLY. SHUTTING THE CAR OFF THEN IMMEADIATELY RESTARTING AGAIN TURNS OFF THE LIGHT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. ALSO, WHEN THE ABS LIGHT IS ON THE SPEED CONTROL WILL NOT FUNCTION. -
