Problem Description and Possible Solution
On vehicles with intermittent windshield wipers, the wiper motor circuit board may fail and cause the wipers to stop working at times. Replacing the circuit board should resolve the issue. Some vehicles were recalled for this problem and some were not. You will need to check with your local dealer to find out if a specific vehicle was included.

Wiper blades worked intermittent for a long time. Never know when they will work. I would have to keep stopping and give the blades a pull by hand to jump start the wiper motor. Just about to replace the wiper motor for $60.00 Then I read online that a guy said to re-solder the circuit board. It will get solder fractures (cold solder joints) Removed the three screws from the black box next to the wiper motor, unhooked the electrical connection first. pulled the circuit board out and reflowed the joint by the main connector plug. No hesitation at all after doing this. Working great. You tube for some good instructions how to do this.
