problem details
Engine hesitated while accelerating from a stop. The check engine light (CEL) came on immediately. Autozone pulled the code of P2647. I replaced the oil pressure switch (37250-PNE-G01) and the o-ring (91319-PAA-A01).
2001 Honda Accord - 2.3L 4 Cylinder 174,000 mi,
CEL light on, no other symptoms. Started after oil level dropped. Oil level fine now but CEL still on, still reporting VTEC oil pressure switch as fault.
2007 Honda Accord - 2.4L 4 Cylinder 101,000 mi,
engine light came on, car hesitates when accelerated. Autozone pulled code for oil pressure switch. Haven't fixed yet
2007 Honda Accord - 2.3L 4 Cylinder 119,000 mi,
Check engine light came on car started jerking had it tested code P2647 came up pressure switch circuit high voltage, It was a recall in my car but it was for the V-6 I think it should be fixed by Honda.
2001 Honda Accord - 2.3L 4 Cylinder 194,000 mi,
My 2001 Honda also did the same thing, jerked and jumped between 2000-3000 rpms, would not go into passing gear when trying to accelerate quickly.Ran very smoothly like a dream any other time.Cel came on and only code was the VTEC solenoid. My husband ordered the gaskets and screen/filter for the '96 model(computer shows this part doesn't come on the '01model, BUT it does) replaced those and changed oil and filter. Cel went off but then began very small fluid leak at the axle!!!! Fluids not low,car runs great but smells like burnt oil.Now what?Just bought it and can't afford costly repairs as we spent all saving to buy!!!Very Aggravated!
