paint peeling at bottom of doors and rusting.road crud" salt snow slush.sand" building up on the INSIDE of the doors from ford not putting a seal there.I bought this truck new and have had this issue from day one.
I purchased this truck new, when they first came out and had to wait for it to be built. this truck has rusted all over worse than any vehicle I own. The brake lines and rear end cover have rusted as well as the supports for the running boards. The motor is good as well as the 4 wheel drive, but the body and frame are junk.
Clear Coat pealing on top of the front fenders and hood Also Roof and A-pillar affected.
2006 f250 Sd Both doors the paint is peeling off at the bottom middle of each dr. only 37,000 mi.Was told by ford employee they all do this as the drainage holes at bottom of dr. get shut off by gasket when the dr. is closed.
All the seams of the doors are rusting
Truck is rusted so much underneath the bed, it's about to fall off.
Rust all along the bottom edges of both doors. Used a phosphoric acid rust converter then some rust inhibiting coating.
Paint peeling around bottom of of passenger rear window. Started on the bottom corner under the rubber. Ford is fixing it under warranty.
Large section of paint peeling off at bottom of front and back fender panels
paint peeling at various locations, Ford has done a poor paint job on my 2010 super duty. They should resolve the problem.
Truck has been decent to me except for the defective body rot issues. This is a factory defect Ford should be fixing it.... Shame on them for neglecting their loyal customers. I bought my truck new in 2003 (F250 Super Duty 5.4 v8) Ford should be sued for the horrific paint issues and body rot on their vehicles. Typical spots - doors, wheel wells, cab corners etc etc. Of course they won't be forced to fix this because they have their hands in stuffed with money in the pockets of so many politicians. I don't have a solution other than covering rust up with trim and driving it unil it dies. Thanks for nothing Ford.
My 2003 Ford f-250 rear passenger door is rusting away at the very bottom for no apparent reason.
Driver side doors on crew cab and running boards are rusting very badley. The whole passenger side is fine-no thing.
both driver and passenger doors have paint falling off right in the middle at the bottom... also there is rust where the paint was coming off. the back doors are doing the same thing. also in the corners of the windows the paint is falling off and it is rusting in the corners right next to the rubber gasket for the windows all 4 doors on my crew cab..
