Hello, I have a 2002 G500 purchased new. I have had all of the window regulators replaced 2-3 times. It amazes me that Mercedes can't seem to develop a mechanism that lasts, like Toyota, Honda, etc. Many of mine were replaced under the 100k warranty. After the warranty expired, it gets expensive. I have found prices at to be the lowest , so far. at approx. $350 per window. I am lucky to have a friend who can replace it for me. Takes him approx. 1 hour to remove and install new mechanism. I have also been told by a dealers parts dept ( have not been able to verify), that the parts for the G500 are same as those for M class. if this is true, the price for each mechanism goes to approx. $55.00. though the photos I have found on line do not match, it may be that I just have to try and purchase an M class mechanism and see how it compares. Part numbers also do not match.
