I need to replace the front passenger door on my 1991 Dodge Grand Caravan.
At the salvage yard they told me the 91 has doors which are unique to that year.
Is this correct, or where would I find this info?
Will a door from a 92/93/94 Caravan fit a 91?
Fan and A/C not working
my brake line is leaking about an inch from where it meets the junction box,but I can only follow it about 15 inches from the box towards the passenger side then it seems to disappear behind the gas tank. just need to know rough diagram/drawing of how the lines run. Thank You.
On certain days the ignition cranks, but won't start. After maybe 10 or 15 minutes and cranking it several times, it starts. The car normally starts continuously in the day I have it running. If it sits over a day or two it usually doesn't start right away. A couple of times it stalled out in traffic, then started minutes later.
The batter, spark plugs and wires are all fine. No one can come up with the source of the problem.
Every time I try to start it it dies unless I push the gas pedal then it Idle sometimes The air filter housing has oil in it and the PVC hose that goes from the air filter housing to where the hose goes to is clogged with gunk
Van has new or replaced everything, including battery, cable connectors, starter, electronic distributor, plug wires, plugs, relays. Will not start when cold. Electrical system checks out. Fault code is 12-26-55. Runs rough and engine light comes on after a few seconds of running.
I have had the same problem as several others with my 91 Grand Caravan 3.3 V6 for three years - will not start when below 40 degrees. But this year is the worst with temps hovering below freezing all last week. I have replaced computer on firewall, starter, key switch, ignition distributor, plugs, wires, battery, terminals, (cam shaft sensor, crankshaft sensor by mechanic) and have taken apart and cleaned every connection that is visible, including all grounds. Once it starts in the morning, it starts on first try all day long. Next morning, will not start again. Somtimes first try, sometimes 15 to 20 cranks will start it, somtimes more. I cannot hear the fuel pump either, and the valve on the top of the fuel rack only squirts gas under pressure once while pump should be on then dribbles after that.
I have a 1991 AWD Dodge Grand Caravan SE. I need to remove the transaxle to replace the Rear Main Oil Seal. This transaxle has a Power Transfer Unit and I don't know how to disconnect it so I can pull the transaxle. The only info I can find on the PTU says its seperate from the transaxle. The removal steps don't say how to seperate it from the transaxle. With the car having a PTU it looks like I don't have to remove the R/H Half Shaft. Some advise on how to seperate it or a website that I could go to find out how. Thanks............ Charles
