problem details
1996 Chrysler LHS 116,000 mi,
Musty odor, oily residue on windshield. Ac charge would slowly leak off at first, then compressor started whining. removed EVAP core and heater core to replace heater core suspecting/assuming evap core was ok and compressor was ac issue. Evap core was leaking badly , the foam was soaked with the dye check used by auto shop. gotta find somewhere to get replacement foam or make one myself.
