problem details
2003 Volkswagen Golf - 2.0L 4 Cylinder 141,000 mi,
Coolant Dumping out as fast as you can pour it in. This causes the engine to overheat within 5-10 minutes of running and blew remaining coolant all over engine bay. Diagnosed valve cover, water pump and possibly head gasket leaks.
2000 Volkswagen Golf 163,450 mi,
I had coolant coming out both ends, replaced the coolant manifold and the water. pump...still leaks! Maybe the valve cover gasket?? Seems more likely the head gasket, but still need to look at it.
