I bought a black, Equinox on July 4, 2012 from Brian Harris Chevrolet. I was told it hadn't been washed & cleaned because it had just come in and no one was there to wash it and wouldn't be there until the week after the holiday. Everything I've read says the bubbling, blistering is caused from something done at the factory before primer & paint is applied. It also states case after case of the paint coming off in patches & sheets exposing rust & corrosion. First, came blistering then peeling & flaking. I need help or advice...

I paid cash (all I had left from a settlement) for a certified pre-owned, dirty, black, 2008 Chevrolet Equinox on July 4, 2013 with 68,892 miles on it from a dealership in Baton Rouge, LA There was no possible way to see the bubbles and they hadn't had it washed because it was a holiday so no one would be there until the week after the 4th of July. Within about a year the paint began to fly off in sheets, patches and is flaking all over the same areas on both sides. What can I do to get it painted correctly. No one at the dealership or GM have been helpful and I don't know what to do next.

I have a check engine light on for a small evap leak which is probably my gas cap and I have a code for the engine knock sensor 1 (P0328). There isn't an audible knock from the engine and I plan on replacing the sensor to see if it clears the problem. On top of these two issues the average speed and economy will reset to zero when I shut the engine off then take a long time to get close to their normal values. Could these issues be related or is there something else going on?

I have under 100,000 miles on my 2008 Black Equinox and a huge sheet of paint blew off the top driver's side doors about 6" wide front to back. Now that I'm looking more closely I see the paint bubbling on the other side of the vehicle too. I am seriously upset. I am 53 yrs. old and my wife and I have worked most of our lives. We are both disabled now and live on a fixed income. We don't have the $ for a paint job and this is an obvious factory defect so where do we turn from here?

problem exists on 2008 Chevy Equinox LS 3.4L. i have replaced wires, plugs and have cleaned throttle body and intake manifold. At speeds approaching 120kmh Stabilitrack off light illuminates but goes off again upon restart of engine. Both problems happen consistantly with no codes being stored.

Passenger side seems to point down too far.

The buttons on the inside of the car don't lock any of the doors, and I have to lock them all manually.

The passenger side window does not go up and sometimes it does not go down either. It doesn't make a noise or anything, nothing happens.

I have to hold it down with my hand when I turn left because it rarely stays, and when I turn in either direction it does not go back automatically.

Car is running fine, how to I get the service stabiltrak light off ? 2008 Chevy Impala
