The fuel pump was changed 4 times. When a new pump is put on, in runs fine for a few hundred miles. Then it russ terrable. Spits and sputters.
it has a 454 and edelbrock camshaft lifter kit and seems not to be keeping proper oil pressure

will only go about 20 mph speedo and the rpms dont read on the dash help please
ALL GAUGES WORK BUT THE SPEEDO AND THE RPMS AND IT WONT SHIFT RIGHT AT ALL

This adapter mounts to the block and extends off at a right angle to the normal oil filter location. Theres a small leak(drip) where the adapter mounts to the block. how does this adapter mount to the block? I'm assuming an oil ring leak between the block and adapter, but I don't see any bolts holding the adapter. There are 2 pipe plugs in the adapter.
All other lights function properly,turn signals, brake, headlights, reverse , hazards etc.
Lights on the dash itself illuminate , but the lights illuminating the speedometer and such do not.
Ive looked for a blown fuse but havent found one.
I have had a cd player installed recently but cant be sure if the lights failed at the same time.
Engine is making a knocking sound, and oil pressure light comes on and oil pressure drops.

have recently purchased a 1999 3500 chevrolet truck...
previous owner noticed coolant leaking from bottom area of the inlet manifold. He had purchased a gasket set. I noticed that the engine coolant looked green (not the color of dexcool) could this be the root cause of the leaking manifold.. material incompatability? any suggestions on what to do next? drain the green stuff and put in dexcool? Currently block dry but shows white deposits where it was leaking...
