Yesterday day I had heat today none just cold air the in hose to the heater core is hot and the out hose is cold.
truck runs good at 60 mph but going up grade slows down and misfires. can I drive truck for awhile without wrecking engine?

Hello, I have a 98 Chevy 3500hd diesel . My starter is less then a year old. My father try's to start it without plugging it in and just cranks it over till the battery's drain, then he charges/ jumps it and it starts. He tried this recently, and when you turn the key you get nothing. I put 2 fully charged batteries in and same. I was told he probably hung up the starter. We pulled the bolts and there it seams like it's locked in. Another person said when they tuned the key to on and got nothing that it wasn't the starter. Please help me
took off intake checked hoses and back of injector had a couple of wires discovered a 1inch threaded screw backed out ,tighten back up turned key and diesel fuel streamed out,instead of flowing through lines it leaked from the back where the wires were located. signed disappointed 6.5 GMC owner
There isn't any rhyme or reason for this. It can be when engine is hot or cold. It will start again. During a 5 block drive, it can stall 5 times one trip and then zero the next
It don't happen all the time. No codes or malfunction light.
There are four O2 sensors on this truck and two cat converters.
it seems to grind less when you down shift. it stays in gear no problem.all other gears go in easy.How expensive is it to correct this.also if I continue to drive it how much damage am I causing. thanks o.d.
Fuel is leaking heavily from somewhere above the starter (onto the starter) and also drains steadily from weep hole in bottom of bell housing (both only when running). Injector lines are tight and dry at pump and block. Watched from top and bottom of truck. Mechanic ran a scope to the injector pump. Checked pump, connections, and "valley" that pump sits in. Cannot find source of leak. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
It is leaking brake fluid from behind the master cylinder where it bolts to the hydro boost. I have been through three masrer cylinders and they all do the same..any ideas?
