I am starting to have regular "warning lights" come on when no problem is found. For example, brake light and coolant will intermittently come on when I'm driving. Several times the "windshield washer fluid low" light says "fluid low". Each time I'd check the WW fluid -- it was full -- the coolant was full. The brakes have been checked numerous times. My thought is: sensors are not working or computer is not working. My 1990 325i convertible is in impeccable condition, inside and out. It has 82,000 original miles. Any ideas on where to start troubleshotting this?

My Daughter complains that sometimes hot water drips on her foot when she is driving, i can't find the leak, of the cause. I've heard it may be a clogged drain hose for the condenser and the water is coming from there. Please help she drives with a bag on her foot to protect it.

this problem just started a day ago: the dashboard computer lights will not turn off when the ignition key is removed.

where is it located? how do I cahnge it?

We just purchased this vehicle and love it. Not sure how to turn off the 'check' engine light. Any advice?
Also, the fuse seem to blow after we put the windows down or up. We replaced the fuse a few times and keeps blowing? Any helpful advice?

My car overheats after 20 minutes in idle and it appears to leak from underneath the throttle body unit. I removed the large coolant hose that connect to the housing unit to the fire wall and it appears fine. Is there another coolant hose around that area? Is there a diagram somewhere online that shows all of the hoses for the coolant system? Thanks.

how do you get at the cylinder lock drivers door can not reach it is there some secret to it. door lock broken would like to replace it. thanks

The driver side door window worked and than just stopped working. Does it need a fuse or not? The passenger side still works.

cruise control was working fine no problems at all but suddenly quit.

I have a 1987 BMW 325i Stick shift. Yesterday, the engine sounded a bit rough, I thought it might be time for a tune up - been about a year since the last one. I just had the oil changed, but the oil service light did not go off. The oil pressure looks good -

Today on my way to work (a 30 minute drive) the engine still sounded rough...I noticed that upon accelleration, say up a hill or getting to speed o the freeway, it bucked a bit - almost like the transmission was slipping....I was afraid that I wouldn't get to work - no smoke, but the car smelled "hot" when I got to work. I checked all the fluids again - couldn't see anything off - the temperature gage was normal, too. Any ideas? I'm afraid to drive it now...don't want to permanently damage it.

my bmw sounds like it is surging when idling, seems to get worse when it warms up. this happens from about 700 to 1400 rpms. my mechanic can't figure this one out. thank.

i have a 1990bmw 325i. i turned the car off one day. ran in the store. ten minutes later came out and the car wouldnt start. left the car. came back thirty minutes later the car started. drove the car 25 miles. pull up to a gas station. turn the car off pump the gas get back into the car. the car wouldnt start. waited 5 minutes and the car started.arrived at destination. left destination 40 minutes later and the car started right up. drove 25 miles to home. next day i drive 25 miles from home get to destination. run in. come out 15 minutes later car wont start. leave car for two days. go back to check and car starts right up. i still leave the car. later on go back and get the car. it starts and i drive home 25 miles. now car wont start. kinda sounds like the ignition is working by itself.

I jut noticed that I have an oil leak. However, some of the oil seems to be in the driver side floor. My mat was soaked. I looked underneath the car and notice that it was a round piece that looked like it could be where the oil was drained from when I got an oil change.

I just wanted to know what kind of problem would cause oil to be in the floor of my car as well as on my drive way. Now, I have oil in my car now so its not a real huge leak but than again I dont know because my mat on the floor was soaked. Could it have been a faulty oil change? What would I need to check?
