Battery acid may deteriorate cruise control system vacuum hose on Dodge Ram 1500

Battery acid can leak on, and deteriorate a vacuum hose for the speed (cruise) control system. If the hose becomes loose or leaks vacuum, the speed (cruise) control will not function.

capping vac line to cruse controll fixed the crazy vents. Have not replaced the vacuum hose yet, but have definitely ID-ed the problem. The hose is hard to get to.
