2004 Mercedes-Benz ML350 sunroof made a cracking sound when we opened it, now the inside shutter hangs up when opening or closing and the sunroof will open to the vent position but it will not slide back, it will try to slide back but it seems like its is hanging up on something that I cannot see, Please advise Thanks.

The small arm that appears to raise the wind deflector on the sunroof is broken or unattached. It may be jamming the open and close operation.
Reprogrammed electrical
When attempting to close the sunroof, the deflector arms snapped and broke
I had to buy a new sun roof frame
