"All Activity Module" May Cause Multiple Electrical Malfunctions on Mercedes-Benz ML55 AMG

AAM caused automatical central locking, remote locking, and front fog lights to stop working. Cost $700 to replace AAM and get new keys programmed.

AAM has stopped allowing the key FOB to lock/unlock the doors, or set the alarm for the vehicle. This appears to be a COMMON issue with Mercedes Benz W-163 SUV vehicles.
AAM controller failed and remote lock system stopped working. Repair shop quoted $650 to repair.
