ABS wiring connector damage due to leaking battery on Dodge Ram Van 3500

Battery acid may leak onto an ABS wiring connector which could cause corrosion or a short circuit. A revised battery tray is available to protect the wire harness. Any damaged wiring will need to be repaired as necessary.

Van sat for 2 weeks and my wife went to start it and seen smoke comming from under hood. I instructed her to disconnect the battary. When I returned come to find out the battery was ded and the wireing going to the ABS computor was melted to it and the plug also. It appers the the red wires were croded and touching each other grounding out on another wire. My van could of went on fire! For now I cut off the plug that is melted to the computor and curently have no speedo no trip as well as no odom.
