Problem Description and Possible Solution
A poor electrical ground under the battery tray may cause the ABS warning light to illuminate. Our technicians tell us that cleaning and properly securing this ground and also the main ABS ground on the frame rail below the drivers door may be necessary.

The ABS and Break light comes on and we cleaned the ground, but that did not work for more than a couple days. The light continues to come on, sometimes immediately, sometimes after 1+ hours of driving. If it is bumpy it seems to come on quickly. The problem persists.
not fixed also electrical problem, dash lights all going on, gauges are going to zero. ABS braking on all the time. Battery drains also. Put new battery in. Still drained. Curently diconected. reading up on complaints. starts and runs for about 1 second. Trying to reprogram. Just read about it.
I have the ABS/Brake lights coming up erratically (mostly on humid weather). I was told that the ABS pump needs replaced, which would cost over $1000!
It might be just the grounding...
I'd like some expert advice please.
AAA replaced battery in my 2002 Chevy Avalanche, now ABS and Brake dash lights come on when I hit a bump. If I turn engine off and restart the ABS and Brake stay off until next bump, then come gain. I've cleaned the neg. and positive connections removing all corrosion, problem still exists.
