wHAT TOOLS ARE NEEDED TO REPLACE A REAR WHEEL BEARING ON A 2005 TOYOTA MATRIX XR

From what i can here ,the noise everyone states it is a wheel bearing as i turn a certian way it grinds as if it is roller bearings . I do not have the $ to have it fixed so i am going to try at it myself.

Matrix XR, smart thing you are attempting to change the wheel bearings by yourself, it is impressive that a non-mechanic is willing to tackle such job instead of a boring brake job anyone can do. Much money can be saved by people doing their own repairs. You were probably quoted at least $600 in labor for this job, right? That money you don't spend is money saved for better things than just auto repair! Just remember, a thousand mile journey begins with one step! Anyway, when you are in the middle of the job, and stuck, missing a tool or knowledge how to remove something, or even just tired after spending eight hours getting little done, and everything is half-apart, call me...I will help you out.

Thank you for wishing us luck Wet Fry, I don't need it...I am confident enough to replace this wheel bearing without any problems. Oh? You recommending me to pick up a manual? That is not really good advice, I already have access to Mitchell On-demand, All-data, and Identifix...so why waste my money on a "manual"?
