I had diagnostics run at a Ford dealer. Found OUTPUT SHAFT TURBINE SENSOR BAD. $554 plus tax installed. Isn't this extremely high?

What made you think it was a throttle control problem to start with?

I based this on what my cars manual said the wrench light on my dashboard was indicating.

A propper estimate can't be completed without looking at the car. If your not satisfied with the dealers estimate is please bring the car in for a second opinion.
