2000 Ford Explorer repair shop has mechs lien on a 2000 ford explorer XLT v-6 with automatic trans, I'm considering buying it for $1900. vehicle has 182k mi came in for fuel pump and fuel filter fix. recently had water pump and radiator replaced too. Is this a fair deal?

2000 explorer xlt seems well kept and not trashed. it has minor damage to r-rear lower 1/4 panel only. engine seems to run fine but didn't drive yet. i'm trying to decide between this and an audi a4 1.8t automatic, that has some noises around pwr steering pump.(fluid is low). future maintenance is a worry with this one $$$ wise. may not have been so well maintained.
