is that the pieces that hold the cable?

Yes; When the cable comes off it is normally an issue with the regulator. In most cases the regulator is the problem not the motor.

it came off when i changed the motor i dont think i put it back on the wheel the right way

It's a Bi**h to get it back on right, if you can.

A Bi**h is right i was just trying to help a friend out and everything went hay wire is there any manual i can get to show how to put it back togather

Looking at another one and try to duplicate might help. But usually it will still fail if reinstalled.
