What is your question?
This Buick randomly decides when it does and does not want to start. It seems to be getting spark. it gets fuel, I tested that by pushing the pin on the fuel rail. It does it spiratically and there doesn't seem to be any pattern to what I do as to when it doesn't start. I took it to a shop and he said that he couldn't say for sure what was wrong unless it acts up when he can put a computer on it. Any ideas?

Confirm the fuel pressure, and a possible ignition module, cam, crank signal.
Scan and fuel pressure test! Be supprised what it will reveal... Scanner might show a problem with the maf sensor...on this engine!..Has the light been on?
That's what's puzzling.no lights come one, well besides the normal ones when a car doesn't start but there are no codes.
DO YOU HAVE ANY CODES?
That's what's puzzling the engine light never comes on to signify something wrong.so no codes
how can the ignition module and cam crank signal be tested
If you have an ignition module tester, as I do, yes you can. The components are working now, and could be hard to determine they are bad with an intermittent issue. Have had some of those styles of ignitions give hell when trying to find which is a fault. If the module is the issue, on the proper style tester it will heat it to a point that it might show the fault. Sometimes it does have to act up to find it.
