And start with the ground! Run just a good ground and see if it works. Have key and wipers on (hi) while grounding motor. If none of that works you might have to let an ol greasy handed one shoe untied dirty coveralls wrenches in pockets nasty ball cap on sideways grease monkey 'mechanic' take a look at it!! Hell he might even have to take it for a spin!!! Probably even charge you a little bit for that too! But it just might be your best/least expensive way to go. Or would have been! We usually pick up a shop rag off the floor and wipe most of the grease off of the steering wheel for our best customers. Now that' service, with a one tooth tobacco chewing smile!
