A component of the rear suspension could break unexpectedly, resulting in loss of vehicle control.

Volkswagen will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning November 2014. A second notice will be sent when remedy parts become available. If you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your Volkswagen dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call.

The glass sunroof may break while driving.

Volkswagen will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning December 19, 2014. If you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Volkswagen recall number is 60B9.

Vehicles with leather sports seats are being recalled. If the right front seat gets wet, the airbag system may not detect the presence of a child safety seat placed on that seat and deploy inadvertently.  

As of this writing, Volkswagen has not yet released a notification schedule for this recall. There may be no symptoms related to this recall, using child seat only in the rear seats would be advisable until this recall is completed. If you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It’s helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
