on 11-09-13 I brought my car in and had transmission fluid and oil changed before I went to Florida. I did notice that my car was a little hesitant in changing gears. On April 18, 2014 I get a letter from Valvoline Division of Ashland that they put the wrong transmission in my vehicle and to come in the next 15 days will replace free of charge & here is a $50.00 gift card for your trouble. The wrong transmission fluid was in my vehicle for 6 months. I had it checked out today & my transmission needs to be overhauled at $2500.00. Can the wrong transmission fluid cause this.
