I am having similar problems. Today, when I shift it to drive, it will not engage until I step on the gas. The stop engine light was on for a while and it would delay downshifting until about 3/mph, causing a jerk when trying to stop. I can handle that part. The fluid level is good. No leaks. Does this mean that it is time to "PAY". I would rather just get another vehicle, than pay that kind of cash. Love my Van. Infact, I don't even think I paid that much for the van. Is it possible that it is just too cold..... -20 with windchill last couple of days.
the gears wont engage wont go in reverse only in drive
transmission wont go into reverse
only when cold, once the transmission warms up it works great.
same thing here. slippage in 1st and rev...just totally lost reverse today.
My 2002 Chrysler T&C will not move in 1st gear or reverse if you press the gas pedal too hard, you have to press it very gently so it wont slip. It also will not move from a stand still on a grade, it just sits there with the engine reving. I have been told that my transmission is shot.
