2012 Toyota Tacoma Recalls
The information printed on a sticker located on the vehicle that states the proper spare tire size and inflation pressure may be incorrect. This could allow for improper tire inflation and lead to spare tire failure if utilized.
Toyota began mailing replacement labels to customers or dealerships in Septemer 2014. If you receive a label, you may install it yourself, or seek the assistance of your dealer. If you have not received a label and want to see if your vehicle is affected, you can contact your dealer. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them.
The Antilock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Traction Control (TC) systems may not function as expected and associated warning lights would be illuminated.
As of February 14, 2014, Toyota has not yet released a notification schedule for this recall. This may result in the passenger front air bag being inadvertently deactivated, increasing risk of injury in an accident.
