Sunroof May Stop Working on GMC Yukon Denali

The sunroof may stop working for various different reasons. Our technicians tell us it is often better to replace the complete sunroof assembly than to try and repair the old one.

Sunroof stuck open following dead battery, wont close
The sunroof opened, but it will not close. It moves about a 1/2" with the open switch, but nothing with the close switch. I replaced the switch, but no luck there. Tried the reset procedure (hold the close switch for 10 seconds to reset it) and that did not work.
