Steering wheel position sensor failed causing traction control and stabilatrac light to come on

Service stability message displays every timr the truck is started. I drove over some high compacted snow in my driveway. It's not fixed cause I'm not gonna let a dealer screw me!
But my light so service stability track while idling or if you shake care and when a bump a is hit. I have not located issue. Any idleas
