Loss of Power Steering Due to Leaking Steering rack on Buick Century

power fluid goes down but can't find any drips in the street when it goes down about an inch or so makes a terrible grinding noise and stearing gets tighter but after adding more noise goes away and stearing is fine noticed it on a cold day acting up and has continued to get worse,, just had it checked and seems a boot down there is full of stearing fluid and thats where it leaks to and then a small amt was on a hose so I had a small leak there,, have not had it fixed yet, told it needs a new rack am going to check and see if there is a recall for this at all
