Chrysler Town & Country Squeaking noise due to front hanger contacting the spring

(3 reports)
If the front hanger makes contact with the spring, you may hear a squeak in the rear suspension; this is often misdiagnosed as a problem with the leaf spring.
I have been hearing a noise whenever I reverse. Took it to the dealer and they said that the Steering Wheel Racket needs repairs because it is leaking fluid. That is another $600 job. A car 4 year old, with only so little mileage and then they told me also that it needs New Bushing, for a 4 year old car. This makes me now believe how cheap these cars are been made. Cars do not last longer than 5 yrs after it is paid off, its time to get rid of it, if you can afford it. That's a damm shame. -
