When cold, 70% of the time the transmission won't shift out of 2nd (30mph). If I restart engine, it goes away. Dealer reprogrammed the "flash" but still having issues. Unsafe if you have to pull off road to restart all the time. Also, sometimes when I stop, the transmission acts like it doesn't want to downshift. The shudder problem also was taken care of but dealer wanted to attribute it to bad injector wire.

When I left the used car dealership the transmission was shuddering a low speeds. Thought it was a transmission issue. Brought it back to the dealer 2 times. The 1st time they sealed a transmission leak and topped it off. 2nd time they reprogrammed the computer. Dealer refused to repair the problem a 3rd time after I reported it was still shuddering. Had to take them to court. Court gave them 30 days to fix it. They replaced the transmission, replaced the computer and problem is worse now. I gave the dealer a 30 demand letter to accept the vehicle back and return all expenses paid since I had the vehicle. 30 days went by, no response from the dealer. I have a court date in March. I filed chapter 93a for up to triple times the damage. By the way I took the vehicle to 3 different repair shops, two of them chevy dealers and none of the shops can determine the cause.

We just bought this vehicle about a month ago from a Chrysler dealership. After driving for awhile it does indeed shift harshly no matter how softly you are accelerating. I thought at first I was just pressing the gas too much too quickly (which I don't do and was confused) but it's not me, it's the vehicle.

I started having this problem right away. I bought the van brand new in 2008. I felt the hard shifting and the shuddering. I took it back to the dealership 3 times. Each time they told me it's a new 6 cylinder transmission and that's how it shifts. They said there is nothing wrong with the transmission. I even contacted Chrysler about the issue. Again they said it's just the way the transmission shifts. I totally disagree.

Since I bought the van, the transmission "jumps" occasionally when shifting gears. Of course it never does it at the dealerships. Was never repaired.
