2009 Saturn Outlook Recalls
The struts that hold up the power liftgate may suddenly fail, resulting in the liftgate falling closed. If this happens, someone may be struck and injured by the falling liftgate.
One or both front seatbelt buckles may not properly secure the seat occupant.
In the event of a crash, the driver and passenger front seat mounted air bag system may not deploy as expected.
There is a trim shield on the sides of the second row seat. If the seat is folded flat and is then returned to the upright position, the safety belt buckle could get hung up on that trim shield. This might affect the ability of the seat belt to be buckled, increasing the risk of injury to the occupant.
The under hood module for the heated washer system may overheat and catch on fire.
Your shifter shows what gear you have selected. If the shifter cable should become dislodged, it may show the incorrect gear. If this happens, your vehicle may not be secured in "Park."
The seat belt buckles in the second or third row seats may be missing a rivet. If a crash occurs, the buckle may separate from the strap, increasing the risk of injury to the passenger.
