While driving, the ignition switch can move out of the "run" position. As a result the engine would stall and the airbags would not deploy in the event of a crash.

The General Motors recall number for vehicles involved in the initial recall is 13454. 14063 for those that are part of the expansion. Until recall repairs have been performed, it is very important that customers remove all items from their key ring, including any key fobs, leaving only the vehicle key.
