The window glass lift plates tend to bend or break and cause the window glass to tilt and bind in the door. The lift plates can be replaced separately from the window regulator. In more severe cases, however, a new window regulator may also require replacement.

The front driver's side window falls forward when I try to open it and you almost need 2 people to get it closed. One to put a hand on each side of the glass to guide it back up to the closed position, and one running the automatic window switch.

why if there are so many 300M's out there are only 21 reports on this issue, I can replace them but I think this should have been a safety recall, this will be the third time!!!!

Started with a broken window clip in 2005. I took it apart two different times and JB welded the front drivers side window clip and it lasts a year or two. this winter I purchased a new part from Chrysler for $11 and will replace myself it in the spring.

I had the same problem but i had the sunroof so it didnt really bother me untill the weather started to get cold.. went to LKQ paid $56 got 2 new/used replacements out of a 04 dodge intrepid, only hard part is the door panel... Its a job you can do yourself.. BUT THE CLIPS ARE TO BLAME!!!! They are cheap and break easy so dont be replacing everything untill its verified that other components are the issue... CHECK THE CLIPS!!!

13 years in my 1999 300M and I rolled up my window but it came out of the track.

window lift plate bent and when window is rolled down, it tilts and has to be forced back into position to close. I push outward on it and it usually works back into place, just take it slow so you don't snap the glass.
