The Fuel Pump May Fail Causing the Engine to Stall or Crank Over But Not Start on GMC Suburban 2500

The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall and not restart. Our technicians recommend replacing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles to help prevent undue strain on the fuel pump.

Vehicle just stalled out. After waiting several hours, opening the gas cap, and banging on the gas tank, it started (managed this twice)... but now it won't start at all... don't even hear the pump come on. Have to wait until I have $500 to fix it. :(
