Suspension & Steering, April 2, 2012
RepairPal Expert Overview
Our Quick Take:
The right rear hub and bearing assembly may fail. This could result in the wheel separating from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
What Should You Do?
Chrysler will notify owners of affected vehicles during April 2012. If you are experiencing an abnormal noise or vibration from the rear of the vehicle, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It’s helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
The right rear hub and bearing assembly may not have been fully machined. This could result in decreased durability. A failed hub assembly could cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the right rear hub assembly to correct this concern. The Chrysler recall number is M13.
