For trucks equipped with the 5.4L V8 or 6.8L V10 engines, a problem with the fuel line connection may allow fuel to leak. The engine may lose power and stall. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
You must visit a Ford dealership to perform recall repairs on your Ford vehicle. June, 2005 is the date of first customer contact by Ford. If not notified, you can check to see if your vehicle is included in this or any other recall by contacting one of your local Ford dealerships. Be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Ford recall number is 05S33.
