The power windows and/or sunroof may operate after the ignition has been turned to the off position and the front passenger door is opened. If children are left unattended and operate the windows or sunroof, there is an increased risk of injury. Dealers will upgrade the body control module (BCM) calibration to correct this concern.
General Motors will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning December 30, 2003. If the power windows and sunroof continue to operate when they should not, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It's helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call.
