Rear cargo door window motor may fail on Land Rover Freelander

rear window has not completely failed in the down position, it will move up about 4 to 5 inches, then immediately return to the down position. this is if i hold the switch down, if i just tap the switch, not much happens.
tailgate windo would not operate. changed motor.
